so proud

i don't think i could be any more proud of what a big girl avery is becoming.





when i went to put her down for her nap yesterday, she climbed into bed all on her own, snuggled down and then got back up because she needed to put her book back on the shelf.

oh, and her favorite color is orange. "favorite" wasn't a concept she really understood, so everytime i'd ask her what her favorite *whatever* was, she'd be stumped. yesterday, she answered the question, and when i asked again later, she had the same answer. so i'm counting it :)
