a date!

*update* yesterday, nola did fall asleep and napped for 3 hours! then she went down a little early (since she was up so early in the morning) and slept until 7am! GIDDY over here!!!!

yesterday, i got a bday shirt for nola to wear at her little family party. when i showed the outfit to avery, she got excited thinking it was for her. so today, i took her on a little date to buy something new to wear to nola's party. in the end, she picked out about 23 things she claimed to love and think were "soo pretty!" and then 2 minutes later would be distracted by the plastic dogs and balls and would throw the "soo pretty" item down and declare it "NOT!" so i went with the first thing she spotted and that's what she'll wear, like it or not ;)

before we were leaving, i told her we were going on a date. she asked "with nolya?" i said "no, just avery and mama. nola's going to grammy's and we're going shopping!" thankfully, she was thrilled :)

after we got home and got nola down for a nap, i snuggled with avery a bit in our bed before her nap. i asked her if she had fun on her date and her response was "mama, i like you."
