(side note: avery decided she was going to be a monkey for halloween. and nola was going to be tigger. no amount of persuasion could sway her from her decision. we finally went to get a costume and it was still monkey all the way. then she saw the snow white costume and mokeys were long forgotten...and then she didn't care what nola was going to be. so nola got the hand-me-down ;))
nola wanted no part of costumes. or costumes with a hood. or smiling. or sitting.
they loved the ride in the wagon when we went trick-or-treating on friday! zane, however, realized how hard it was to pull 60 lbs in a wagon. up a hill.

(nola had a rough day between hunger, teeth, life, annoying costumes. at least it didn't seem to bother avery ;))
it was a fun (and tiring!) halloween weekend! we need a day for recovery...
