is it too late...

to find a new doctor?

to make a LONG and silly story short, i hope i have the baby this week so i don't have to go back and see this dr. next week.

a few highlights:
-only reading last week's appt notes and not understanding/knowing anything that has happened throughout this pregnancy
-second guessing my decision to have a c-section without knowing why this decision had been made
-practically breaking my back by having me lay flat and trying to get me to lay my legs down, then moving my foot and (after i started crying) saying "all i did was lift your foot. it doesn't take much does it?" and then asking how long i've been having back problems. look in my chart dr. i'm sure it's there.
-measuring my belly while i'm laying flat, staring at my belly that looks like a camel with 2 humps with the way the baby is laying for minutes at a time and NOT being able to measure me correctly (i'm now measuring 3 weeks behind! how about that...)

so. horrible appointment. i felt like a freak on show with her staring at my stomach and not knowing what to say (and then saying the wrong things when she did open her mouth). can't wait for next tuesday!

Oh my! I don't think it's too late. I changed at 30 weeks, if that helps! I'm sorry to hear that she made you cry and be in pain. I hope next week is better for you!

You 100% can and should change your doctor if you're not happy. There HAS to be another doctor in the practice or someone who assists your old doctor when they need back-ups. Ridiculous that this late in the pregnancy and they're not reading your file and/or notes!!!
