...in addition to it being the only day of the year that is a command, march fourth, 2007 was the day that i had growing suspicions i was pregnant and Zane and I would finally be living our dream of having a baby. Since then, we have marched forth in our efforts to live our life as a family in the northeast, first as 3, then as 4, soon to be 5! And here it is...
more to come later, we just got home tonight and are totally in love :)
ps, we're at an even 9lbs now! she gained an ounce before we left the hospital...have i branded this poor kid for life with her nickname!? :)

WOW! She's already gaining weight, that's awesome. Lauren lost weight before we left the hospital. I really like the name and I don't think you've branded her with her nickname. You will come up with plenty more as time goes on. Paul & I have come up with at least three for Lauren and she's only 2 months old. Avery looks so cute. Ohhh! Ally and Zane - she is GORGEOUS!!! Congratulations!!! She doesn't hardly even look like a newborn. What great pictures. You two are going to be awesome parents - I'm so happy for you. How could she change so much in 24 hours, she's perfect and such a good sleeper and eater. We're so excited for you both and happy that grandma Kathy is here, too. love grammy and gramps

Zane & Ally, congratulations! I am just so thrilled for you guys! I think Avery Marie is the most perfect, beautiful, newborn "little piglet" I have ever seen! I can totally relate to the "being in love" comment. It hits you instantaneously, is completely overwhelming, and never goes away - just grows. So, so happy for you! Love, Kitty
I know you've been wondering why you haven't heard from great grandma. Well, I've certainly been praying and thinking of you! and finally got to see the pictures of your gorgeous baby girl, Kitty and Kathy had lots of black hair when born, too. And this prejudiced gr grandma thinks she looks just like her grandma Kathy when born. But, with your 2 beautiful sisters, and Avery's mom-there's lots of resemblences. I've been busy all week with Kitty, who's been very sick with a virus. After 4 days of 102 temp and no eating, decided to take her to ER--and were there from about 2 pm til 8:30 pm, while they pumped her full of fluids and antibiotics. She was feeling much better this morning--was in lots of pain with her throat and chest--after xrays, no pneumonia. Also, my furnace isn't working, and got down ro 40 last night--so, been spending nights at Kitty's--her franklin stove does a great job of keeping us warm. So glad the pregnancy term is over--now the fun and loving begins! Congratulations on a beautiful little girl, and for making a grgma very happy! Love, Great Gma
