ok. this is serious.

if you know me well, you know that i *HATE* bananas. have always wanted to like them (a conveniently pre-wrapped snack!) but have tried and failed numerous times.

now. the current situation.

i've just completed foot/toe cramp #2 so far in this pregnancy (which means foot cramp #2 total in life so far for me) and i dont know that i can go through another! i've heard that eating bananas helps with leg cramps, so i'm willing to do my best to eat as many as i can if it will relieve me.

here's where you come in...if you have ANY suggestions/tips/remedies for foot cramps and prevention (and also what the heck to do with my foot when it's happening, since stepping on it or walking on it doesn't seem to be possible) PLEASE COMMENT!!!!!

thanks in advance :)

ps, sorry for screaming in your ear, meghan!!!! :(

lol well I still dont have full hearing back in my hear but I am hopeing for the best! I asked my sister and she said she got them with all of her kids and said the only thing that helped her was if she put her leg out straight and tried to tip her toes backward towards her head, so dont curl them push them the other way! Apparently this helps so try it! Love Monkey! See you friday!

You are too cute! Try stretching your calf muscles before going to bed, lying down or through out the day if you get them randomly during the day.

Zane - please consult pages 78-79 in the "How to Make a Pregnant Woman Happy" book! :)

Love you both,
Jen

Yes, pull the toes away from the foot towards the sky (not curled towards the foot.) Good luck!

Yes, banana's (it's the potassium in them). I try to stand & walk. Might take a few attempts to get the foot straightened, but it WILL go down if you force it! Good Luck, m.walsh
